Flow-Like is available under different licensing terms depending on your use case.
License Types
Section titled “License Types”Business Source License (BSL 1.1)
Section titled “Business Source License (BSL 1.1)”The open-source version of Flow-Like is released under the Business Source License 1.1, owned by TM9657 GmbH.
What this means:
- ✅ Free for most use cases — Internal use, personal projects, and most commercial applications
- ✅ Full source access — Build, modify, create derivative works
- ✅ Self-hosting allowed — Run on your own infrastructure
- ✅ Redistribution allowed — Share the code (with license intact)
Restrictions
Section titled “Restrictions”Change Date & Future License
Section titled “Change Date & Future License”After 8 years from each release’s publication date, the code automatically converts to MPL 2.0 (Mozilla Public License), giving you full permissive open-source rights.
Enterprise License
Section titled “Enterprise License”For organizations that need:
- White-label and resale rights
- Offering Flow-Like as a hosted service
- Priority support and SLA
- Custom development services

Section titled “Can I use Flow-Like for my company?”Yes. Internal use for your own business operations is permitted under the BSL.
Can I build products that use Flow-Like workflows?

Can I self-host Flow-Like for my team?

Can I offer Flow-Like as a service to customers?

Can I modify Flow-Like?
